A jazz nourished by Latin sounds, contemporary music, groove
and improvisation. A luminous or abrasive, sophisticated or
spontaneous, capable of translating the excitement specific to travel and encounters.
Pit and Company, that's it: a quintet on the loose saying the big
thrill born from the great escape and the adventure carried out to the four winds.
At the helm of this illuminated project, the cream of French-speaking Swiss Latin jazz.
Either Peter Balazs (double bass) and Stéphanie Küffer (piano),
join Mathieu Schneider (flute) and Daniel Bagutti (drums,
percussion), as well as special guest Gerry López (saxophone).
United in a gang loving jazz “in all its forms”, grooves
barred and unbridled fusions, these five virtuosos present to the
spring 2018, L’Emigré: first studio album by Pit and Company.
An invitation to live and follow a borderless odyssey played between
enchanting, lyrical or singular climates.

A jazz fed by Latin sounds, contemporary music, groove and
improvisation. A “jazz fusion”, luminous or abrasive, sophisticated gold
spontaneous, able to express the excitement of travels and new encounters.
Pit and Company: it is a quintet freely expressing the thrill of the
great escape and of the adventures in the big wide world.
At the helm of this inspired endeavor is the very best of the
French-speaking part of Switzerland’s jazz and Latin jazz:
Peter Balazs (double bass) and Stéphanie Küffer (piano), joined by
Mathieu Schneider (flute) and Daniel Bagutti (drums, percussion) as well
as the special guest Gerry López (saxophone).
Gathered together in a gang loving jazz in all its shapes and forms,
from barred grooves to unbridled fusions, these five virtuosos present,
in spring 2018, “L’ Emigré”: the first studio album signed Pit and
Company. An invitation to embark on an odyssey without borders spanning
enchanting, lyrical and unique climates.
